Shahira Khaled is a Partner at Al Kamel Law Office and a member of the Egyptian Bar Association who studied at the English Department of the Faculty of Law, Cairo University and whose practice areas include Corporate Law and governance, Anti-trust and Competition, M&As and Project Finance. Shahira leads the Competition and Anti-trust team at Al Kamel. She has worked closely with significant domestic and multinational businesses in a variety of industries including bakery, health care and pharmaceutical manufacturers, telecom, petrochemicals, glass manufacturers and construction.
Shahira was the former President for four consecutive years (2000-2004) of Best Buddies Egypt Schools Program and for two consecutive years (2007-2008) Universities Program, a nonprofit organization that creates opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and contributed in drafting An Overview of Egyptian Tax Law and Practice in the publication Tax Law Client Strategies in the Middle East and Africa” as well as several Doing Business Reports published by the World Bank and IFC.

Al Kamel is an independent full-service law firm. We serve both international and domestic clients and have advised on many of the major transactions in Egypt over the past 33 years. Our clients include many of the world's leading multi-national companies, banks and other financial institutions, government agencies, NGOs and private enterprise operating in a vast range of industries and sectors. Our professional staff includes 48 attorneys and support staff totaling over 100, most are proficient in English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Greek and Turkish.

Al Kamel Law Office has assisted the Egyptian, Saudi Arabia, Yemeny, Omany Governments in investment and commercial law, and juridical reforms working closely with the World Bank and USAID.
