Profile

As an experienced litigation paralegal, Sharon has participated in civil trials throughout New England, New York, and Florida, in cases involving complex personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice defense, health care law, qui tam and whistleblower actions.

Sharon works closely with the trial team and our clients in analyzing and developing strategies in all phases of the case from initial intake through discovery, trial and appeal. She assists with investigating facts, interviewing expert witnesses, legal research, analyzing and researching medical issues, developing witness examinations, drafting pleadings and discovery responses, designing trial exhibits, and attending jury selection and trial. She has assisted with multi-week "parachute" cases involving catastrophic losses, in which the firm became involved just prior to trial.

Sharon graduated from the University of Southern Maine, Paralegal Studies Program. She has prior experience leading and facilitating seminars through the Institute for Paralegal Education and participated on a Maine State Bar Association panel. She has also presented at the firm's Litigation & Trial Group meetings. She previously held positions as the President, Vice President, and Publicity Committee Chairperson for the Maine State Association of Legal Assistants.

Sharon is a Certified Legal Project Manager through the LPM Institute. She is proficient in various litigation and trial presentation software packages, and is qualified as an administrator with Eclipse SE. She is a New Hampshire Justice of the Peace.
