Steven Di Saia is a Shareholder in Buchalter’s Los Angeles office, and is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Di Saia focuses his practice on the defense of catastrophic injury claims, mass and complex tort litigation, products liability, and commercial litigation. His experience includes pre-litigation risk management and resolution of claims, as well as the advising of clients on matters relating to complex litigation concerning environmental liability, toxic exposure, injury, fraud, and unfair business practices.

Mr. Di Saia represents clients in a wide range of industries, including heavy earthmoving and construction equipment, automotive, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, chemical and coating products, construction, appliances, food and beverage, healthcare, electrical power generation and distribution, and electrical equipment, tools, and consumer products.  He has also represented and defended a wide range of residential and commercial property owners and management entities in connection with claims related to statutory compliance and personal injury.

Mr. Di Saia is a frequent speaker at seminars and lectures across the U.S. regarding the topics of his practice and is a member of the Litigation Section at the Los Angeles California Bar Association.

Buchalter COVID-19 Client Alert: San Francisco Moves to Lowest COVID Tier in California, Begins Process of Reopening Non-Essential Offices; Other Bay Area Counties Slower to Follow

On October 20, 2020, San Francisco County was upgraded to the “minimal” tier within the California COVID-19 tracking system, meaning it has the fewest restrictions on reopening all businesses as promulgated by the State of California. In order to qualify for the “minimal” tier, a county must have an infection rate of less than one daily new positive COVID case per 100,000 residents and have a positive test rate of less than 2% for two consecutive weeks...
