Toby is an experienced corporate lawyer who advises clients on the full spectrum of private company transactions, including M&A, business start-ups, joint ventures, debt and equity fundraisings and private equity investments, as well as corporate governance matters. 

 

Toby's transactional experience includes acting for the buyer of a major national restaurant chain; acting for one of the world's largest packaging companies on various acquisitions, disposals and corporate restructurings; and completing multiple investments and disposals during the course of a 10 year-plus working relationship with a private equity house. Specialisms include property 'SPV' transactions (including in relation to high-end residential property), and the automotive sector, where Toby continues to build on years of experience gained during his former career as a motoring journalist.
