In addition to specific expertise in employment litigation, my experience includes working with clients to manage day-to-day workplace matters, discrimination, harassment and bullying issues and conducting and advising on investigations, and conducting training and compliance reviews. I also have substantial experience in assisting employers to manage workplace change.

I support clients operating in a range of sectors and industries, including retail, financial services, construction, government, telecommunications, transport, information technology and health.

  • Acting for a major insurer, advising in relation to numerous employment disputes, unfair dismissal, adverse action and discrimination claims, including appearing for insured parties.
  • Acting for a Commonwealth regulator in the High Court of Australia in a landmark case about the principles for setting civil penalties.
  • Acting for a telecommunications company in complex bullying and general protections claims.
  • Acting for a major public health employer in a significant industrial dispute involving consultation obligations.
  • Advising major retailers and employers in the transportconstruction and telecommunications industries about complex industrial relations matters including in relation to enterprise bargaining.
