With more than 20 years' experience in the field Tony Berriman is a leading practitioner in corporate and property finance, acting primarily for financiers and arrangers. He heads the firm's Property Finance practice.

Tony's corporate finance experience includes syndicated debt financing across a range of industries including telecommunications, engineering, food and beverage and gaming.

Tony has led numerous property finance transactions spanning project-style construction facilities and corporate-style facilities to listed property groups. He has extensive experience in the institutional finance and bank syndication markets, as well as high profile A-REIT debt restructure transactions.

Recent deals include construction funding for OneOneOne Eagle Street Brisbane, Mid City Centre Sydney, the Northbank Project Brisbane and the Darwin City Waterfront, as well as facilities to CQO, GPT, IOF, LLC, LaSalle, Mulpha and TAHL and wholesale A-REITS managed by GPT, Goodman Charter Hall and Valad.

Some of Tony's long-standing clients include CBA, ING Bank NV, NAB and Westpac.

Amongst his many peer accolades, Tony is named as a leading Australian lawyer for banking and finance in Chambers Global, while in Asia Pacific Legal 500 he is said to 'excel' in the property finance field. Tony also lectures in debt finance in the Sydney University Masters of Law program.
