WSG Practice Industries

Connecticut, U.S.A.

Travis brings a sophisticated understanding of policy and the law, a breadth of experience, and a keen eye for detail to a wide range of complex commercial disputes. This equates to the highest quality of client representation that is firmly rooted in the fundamentals of the practice of litigation, yet is adaptable to suit a client's needs in an ever-changing legal landscape.

Prior to joining Verrill, Travis assisted in litigation on behalf of developers, general contractors, and subcontractors in some of the largest projects in Connecticut. Travis also clerked for the Honorable Thomas J. LaConte, P.J.Ch. (retired) in the Superior Court of New Jersey's General Equity Division, where he worked with complex business and environmental matters, and facilitated mediation in small claims issues, landlord-tenant disputes, special civil matters, and foreclosure. During law school, Travis simultaneously worked part time as a legal research assistant to the Minnesota House of Representatives; a research assistant to Professor Tom Cotter, studying topics related to his blog on comparative patent remedies, as well as assisting him in the preparation of Patent Wars: How Patents Impact Our Daily Lives (Oxford University Press, 2018); and as Managing Editor and Articles Editor for the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science & Technology, during which he earned distinction as the 2017 editor of the year.

In his free time, Travis enjoys traveling to new places and visiting friends and family in his home state of North Dakota.
