Wisu is an intellectual property attorney with a background in chemical engineering and electrical and electronic Engineering. He focuses his practice primarily on U.S. and international patent preparation and prosecution but also has experience with trademarks, IP licensing agreements, and patent litigations.

Wisu has drafted and prosecuted numerous patent applications in the chemical, electrical, and mechanical arts, including petroleum refining, chemical engineering, materials, polymers, automotive, software, displays, semiconductors, mobile devices, and medical devices. He has counseled a broad ranges of clients on the procurement of intellectual property rights, from Fortune 500 companies to small start-ups. His experience includes conducting patentability, validity, infringement and clearance studies, performing freedom to operate analysis, and managing patent portfolios. Wisu also has experience drafting and analyzing licensing agreements and supporting patent litigations.

Before practicing in the U.S., Wisu worked as a Korean patent attorney in South Korea.
