On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, Supreme Decree N° 007-2021-VIVIENDA was published in the Official Gazette “El Peruano”, which established a three-month deadline for the submission of Cofinanced Private Initiatives (“IPC”) on investment projects for sanitation services.

With this, interested bidders shall be able to submit their proposals to carry out investment projects for drinking water or wastewater treatment services in the urban areas of the provinces of Paita, Talara, Lambayeque, Huaura, Barranca, Huancavelica and Andahuaylas.

It is important to consider that priority shall be given to investment proposals that require a lower amount of investment to be disbursed by the State; that have a lower impact on operation and maintenance rates; propose a higher level of coverage and quality in the service they wish to provide; generate a higher degree of technological innovation in the design of the infrastructure; whose interventions benefit the current and projected scope of the Sanitation Service Provider, among other aspects.

IPC proposals may be submitted to PROINVERSION during the 30 working days of the established deadline, that is, from June 11 to July 23, 2021, through its Table of Parties on site (Av. Canaval Moreyra 150, San Isidro) or virtual ([email protected]), according to the opening hours of each one.
