Board of Directors Resolution No. 00010-2020-OEFA/CD adopts Regulation of the Electronic Box System of the Agency for Environmental Assessment and Enforcement (OEFA)

On July 4, Board of Directors Resolution No. 00010-2020-OEFA/CD adopted the Regulation of the Electronic Box System of the Agency for Environmental Assessment and Enforcement (OEFA), regulating, among other aspects, the following:

  1. Mandatory use of the electronic box system to take notice of administrative acts and proceedings issued by the OEFA.

  2. An identity authentication process entered into the Electronic Box System (SICE) shall be carried out to obtain an electronic box taking into account the last digits of the company’s RUC, from July 6 to 24, according to the schedule included at the following link: https://sistemas.oefa.gob.pe/sice.

  3. The use of the electronic box shall be mandatory for notification of proceedings issued by the OEFA from July 27.

  4. Electronic notifications are made from Monday to Friday during the public service hours established by the OEFA (from 8.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m); otherwise, it is considered to be made on the following working day.

  5. Information alerts on notifications shall be sent to the registered email or cell phone. However, sending this alert is not part of the procedure, so its omission does not invalidate the notification.6. If the applicant does not have access to the Internet, he must inform the OEFA, indicating the duration.
