Last seats available at Krogerus Disputes Day 2023 on 21 March

March, 2023 - Hanna Ulkuniemi

Compliance related themes have become a widely discussed and increasingly important topic for corporates around the world. Increased ESG requirements and awareness have made companies rethink what responsible corporate everyday life looks like. At the same time corporate crimes and, for example, cyber-attacks and data breaches are ever increasing and may lead to detrimental consequences on business.

Krogerus' Disputes Day will focus on the challenges and risks corporates face as a consequence of compliance incidents and criminal conduct, and how these challenges and risks are best mitigated. The Disputes Day will be organised as a live conference at Little Finlandia. The conference will be kicked-off by keynotes from Suzanne Innes-Stubb, Head of Global Compliance at KONE Corporation, who will elaborate on how compliance incidents are dealt with in her organisation, and from Tomi Tuominen, VP of Security at Wolt, who will dig deeper into the topic of how modern companies can best prepare for cyber threats.

Together with our other distinguished guest speakers, we will approach the theme of compliance risks and corporate crimes from the financial sector’s perspective as well as discuss how the issue affects M&A-transactions and investments. A separate panel will gather key findings on the topic of the day from a Nordic perspective. Closing remarks will focus on how corporates can aim to prevent the occurrence of crimes. The event will be hosted by Krogerus' dispute resolution partners Kirsi Kannaste and Thomas Kolster.

Join us on Krogerus Disputes Day 2023 by registering on the event website by Monday, 13 March. The full programme with all of our guest speakers and Krogerus’ own experts can be found on the event website. See you on 21 March at Little Finlandia!
