Serbia's Investment Potentials Presented In Paris

Media reports are letting us know that the "Serbia - A Strategic Crossroads between Western and Eastern Europe," conference was held in Paris on 15 September, where the French companies were presented with the political and economic environment in Serbia, as well as with the ensuing investment opportunities and the possibility of financing economic projects.

Four different Roundtables were organised within the conference, and they were split according to Serbia's largest investment potentials – agriculture and food, energy and environmental protection, automotive and machinery, and digital technologies and telecommunication industries. The later part of the programme consisted out of B2B meetings with French companies that were hosted by Sanja Ivanic – the general manager of the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

A number of prominent French companies participated in the conference, including Airbus Group, Atos Vorldgrid, Konsolis, Aksereal, Credit Agricole, Dalkia, Egis, Galeries Lafayette Osman, Hutchinson, Gefko, Gemalto, Societe Generale, and many others.

The Franco-Serbian Chamber of Commerce was reported as saying that expectations are high for the conference to have had a significant contribution in intensifying the French-Serbian economic exchange.
