Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is pleased to announce it is already expanding its Boston office, just weeks after it opened on July 31. Thad Lenkiewicz, a four-time Super Lawyers® Rising Star, is joining the firm as a commercial litigation associate alongside the three partners already in the office.

Lenkiewicz spent the past three-plus years at the same firm that partners Javier Flores and Eric Skelly departed to launch Dinsmore’s Boston branch. The three will continue their previous collaboration, which included work on cases pertaining to product and general liability. Lenkiewicz also does a significant amount of advisory work for clients, helping them to avoid exposure to liability claims in the first place.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to launch a new office with a firm as impressive in scope as Dinsmore,” Lenkiewicz said. “This is a great chance to expand our practice and assist high-profile clients with their litigation needs.”

His experience also includes construction, toxic tort, and medical malpractice litigation and work for the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where he represented the state in civil litigation, including civil rights, tort, and employment discrimination cases, among others.

Lenkiewicz earned his J.D. in 2011 from Vanderbilt University and his B.A. in 2007 from the University of Notre Dame. Outside the office, he is on the board of directors for Sophia Snow Place, a senior living community that has served the Boston area since 1856. He is a history and trivia buff, an avid supporter of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Boston Red Sox, and enjoys running, boxing, basketball and softball recreationally.
