Dinsmore Health Care Group Earns ABA Top-10 Ranking in Midwest

October, 2019 - United States of America

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP has once again been named a top-10 health care firm in the American Bar Association’s Annual Regional Law Firm Recognition List. This year, Dinsmore ranked No. 7 in the Midwest region based on section lawyer membership.

More than 45 Dinsmore attorneys are active in the industry representing health care clients, covering everything from regulatory compliance to fraud, waste and abuse claims to medical malpractice, hospital representation and much more.

“Dinsmore’s dozens of health care attorneys are proud to provide clients in the Midwest and nationwide with the help needed to navigate the ever-changing health care legal landscape,” said Dinsmore Health Care Practice Group Co-Chair Jennifer Mitchell. “We are grateful to the ABA for including Dinsmore in its Annual Recognition List.”

This marks the third time in the past four years that Dinsmore has earned a top-10 spot on the ABA list – and for good reason. Since January, Dinsmore has added five additional health care attorneys to its ranks (four partners), and eight Dinsmore attorneys were named to the Best Lawyers In America list. In September, Health Care Partner Stacey Borowicz was promoted to office managing partner in Columbus, making Dinsmore the top-rated female-led firm in the capital city. Eric Plinke, co-chair to the practice Group with Mitchell, is completing his two-year term as president of the Society of Ohio Healthcare Attorneys.

“This recognition by the ABA reflects the growth we have experienced in our health care practice as we continue to add depth and breadth of talent to meet our client’s changing needs,” Plinke said.

The ABA recognition list is broken down into five regions. The Midwest includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin. Of those states, Dinsmore has offices in Ohio, Illinois and Michigan.
