Dinsmore’s Client Service Award is 4th From BTI Since 2017

Dinsmore Partner Lenny Asaro joined the firm’s Chicago office in May of 2018, and among the clients who followed him from his prior firm to Dinsmore was a family limited liability company comprised of three siblings—one who lives in the Chicago area, one in Michigan and one in Norway. He has represented them for more than six years with respect to real estate matters involving disposition and litigation after they inherited real estate holdings from their father.

“Ninety-nine percent of my client-facing communication has been with the siblings in Michigan and Norway” Asaro said. “The work I’ve done for them over the years led them to follow me from my last firm to Dinsmore, and, most recently, with the help of another Dinsmore partner Nicole Daniel, we closed on the sale of the last of the family’s real estate holdings. The attorney-client relationship that we built over the years was rooted in our passion to deliver the best client service, no matter how big or small the client.”

That is but one example of Dinsmore’s commitment to excellence for its clients, which this week was recognized by BTI Consulting Group, when it named Dinsmore to its annual list of elite law firms for client service. In the “A-Team 2020: Survey of Law Firm Client Service Performance”—BTI’s 19th annual report—Dinsmore was given “standout” status for both “investing in client relationships” and “client-facing communication.”

This is the fourth firm-wide recognition Dinsmore has received from BTI in the past two years. In 2017, it was named to the BTI Client Service A-Team, and in 2018, it made the Most Recommended Law Firms list. Earlier this year, Dinsmore was ranked among the top 15 percent of best-branded law firms in the 2019 BTI Brand Elite rankings. And since 2007, four Dinsmore attorneys—most recently Partner David Lavan in 2018–have been named BTI Client Service All-Stars.

BTI is an independent research and consulting group that studies how clients acquire, manage and evaluate their professional service providers. The Client Service A-Team is the only ranking based on direct, unprompted feedback from corporate counsel. It was compiled using data from more than 350 in-depth interviews from representatives of 17 industries, including banking, health care, insurance, transportation and more – for all of which Dinsmore offers legal representation.
