Waller adds twelve in Nashville

Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP announced Hollie Cheek, Kean Devine, Tyler Gilbert, Quynh-Anh Kibler, Hannah Kim, Alistair McKane, James Nelson, Bari Ray, Alexa Sengupta, Leigh Stanfield, Hunter Thornton and Renee Wilson joined the firm as first-year associates licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee. Each is based in the firm’s Nashville office.

Cheek assists lenders and borrowers in commercial finance transactions including acquisition and development financing, leveraged recapitalizations, asset-based loans and other senior and subordinated commercial credit facilities. Cheek earned her J.D., with high honors, from the University of Tennessee College of Law where she served as president of the Student Bar Association. She received her B.A., cum laude, from Birmingham Southern College.

Devine assists healthcare providers and investors in transactional matters including acquisitions, private equity recapitalizations and investments, joint ventures and divestitures. His experience ranges from hospitals and health systems to dental support organizations and specialty physician practices. Devine earned his J.D. from William & Mary Law School where he was articles editor of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Miami University.

Gilbert is an associate in Waller's Healthcare Regulatory Compliance practice where he assists clients with regulatory compliance issues related to transactional matters and changes of ownership and provides advice on day-to-day operational concerns. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law where he graduated Order of the Coif and served as senior staff editor of the Kentucky Law Journal. Gilbert received his B.B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University.
