Bradley Attorney Stevie Rushing Graduates from 2020 Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum

June, 2021 - Birmingham, Alabama

Bradley is pleased to announce that Stevie Rushing, an associate in the firm’s Jackson office, has graduated as part of the 2020 class of the Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum.

The Leadership Forum accepts no more than 20 lawyers each year to its program and seeks to serve the legal profession by equipping participants with the vision, knowledge, and skills necessary to serve as leaders in their profession and local communities. Participants have demonstrated leadership in their past accomplishments and current activities and are members of the Mississippi Bar who have been in practice for three to 10 years.

“We are proud that Stevie was chosen to participate in the Mississippi Bar Leadership Forum, which helps to equip young lawyers in our state to become leaders in the community and in the bar,” said Bradley Jackson Office Managing Partner Margaret Oertling Cupples. “Stevie has already demonstrated those abilities, and we know that the time she has invested in the Leadership Forum has given her the tools to be even more of a standout in our profession.”

Ms. Rushing defends corporate clients in unfair competition, trade secret, and business tort litigation in both state and federal courts. She regularly represents financial institutions in civil litigation, defending against claims such as wrongful foreclosure, fraud, and deceptive trade practices, and has extensive experience representing private correctional healthcare providers in Section 1983 civil rights suits. Ms. Rushing graduated from Mississippi College School of Law (summa cum laude) and earned undergraduate degrees in Human Resources Management (magna cum laude) and English (magna cum laude) from the University of Mississippi.
