DFDL Cambodia Participates in New E-Commerce Regulations Webinar

On 25 June 2021, DFDL Cambodia was pleased to participate in the Ministry of Commerce and the Asian Development Bank webinar on “New Regulations on E-Commerce in Cambodia” organized in association with EuroCham Cambodia. For this well-attended event, the team experts comprised H.E. Mr Sok Sopheak (Secretary of State, Ministry of Commerce), H.E. Mr. Om Dararith (Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce and Director of the Business Registration Department), Christopher McCarthy (CEO, MangoTango Asia), Matthew Tippetts (Chairman, EuroCham’s ICT Committee and CEO, Clik) and Nearirath Sreng (Deputy Head of Cambodia Banking & Finance Practice, DFDL) and Simon Burlinson (Senior Consultant, DFDL). They discussed the new E-Commerce regulations. Nearirath explained the mandatory compliance requirements and guided the audience through the consequences of failing to comply with this new law. Simon moderated the panel discussion at the end of the session. He directly key questions to the panel of experts stimulating a very interesting discussion.
