Bruce Ely Mentioned in Law360 About Tax Incentives

Bradley partner Bruce Ely was mentioned in Law360 regarding his and the firm’s decades of involvement in using tax incentives to attract new companies to Alabama and other states. David Brunori, RSM US LLP senior director and regular columnist, praised Ely writing, “If there were a SALT Hall of Fame, Bruce Ely would be in on the first ballot.”
In addition, Brunori said, “There are few better tax practitioners in the country, and few nicer people… I say that despite having had a 25-year running debate with Ely over the use of tax incentives as an economic development tool. Ely and his firm, Bradley Arant, have represented companies in most of the largest incentive deals, going back to Mercedes-Benz in Alabama.”
