Alé Dalton Receives Bradley’s 2021 Cameron J. Miller Award for Excellence and Community Service

Bradley is pleased to announce that Alé Dalton, an associate in the firm’s Nashville office, is the recipient of Bradley’s 2021 Cameron J. Miller Award for Excellence and Community Service.
This annual award honors an associate who exemplifies the excellence of Cameron Miller, who died in June 2012 after battling cancer his first year as an attorney at Bradley. The award includes a donation to a charity in Mr. Miller’s memory. This year, a $10,000 charitable donation will be divided between FUTURO and Conexión Américas, organizations selected by Ms. Dalton.
“Alé Dalton demonstrates characteristics of excellence through her initiatives and positive attitude serving the firm, legal industry and her community,” said Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan M. Skeeters. “We are proud of Alé’s accomplishments and that we are able to continue to honor Cam’s legacy.”
Ms. Dalton is a member of Bradley’s Healthcare Practice Group where she provides her clients counsel during mergers and acquisitions, as well as guiding them through issues that arise from the complex nature of operating in a highly regulated industry. In June 2021, Ms. Dalton was appointed to a two-year term on American Health Lawyers Association Young Professionals Council and was named a 2020 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder. She has also worked with Judge Ana Escobar to connect local attorneys of Hispanic and Latino descent, ultimately helping to establish the Nashville Hispanic Bar Association (NHBA). Ms. Dalton hosted the first NHBA networking event at Bradley’s office and worked with FUTURO and Conexión Américas, both which support the advancement of Hispanic families and students in the Nashville area.
Ms. Dalton is actively involved in Bradley’s pro bono efforts and also dedicates time to serving local community legal clinics. She has been selected twice as a finalist for the Nashville Emerging Leader Awards and was named by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to the 2019 class of Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30.
Bradley established the Cameron J. Miller Award for Excellence and Community Service in conjunction with Mr. Miller’s parents, Frank and Alice Miller, and family friends, Charlie and Sheri Perry, along with their daughter Katherine. Through the award, Mr. Miller’s contributions and service to the firm and the community will continue to be recognized in a tangible way.
