DFDL Tax Team Participates in ACCA Tax Update Webinar

On 11 November 2021, DFDL’s Regional Tax Practice team was pleased to join the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) Mainland Southeast Asia for its live event “Recent International Tax Development in CLMVT – What You Need to Know”.
Jack Sheehan (Partner and Head of Regional Tax Practice) gave a brief, succinct and to-the-point presentation on recent tax updates and developments in the Southeast Asian Region.
Clint O’Connell (Partner, Head of Cambodia Tax Practice and Cambodia Deputy Managing Director) focused on Cambodia’s new e-commerce tax rules with a special focus on the implementation of VAT on overseas e-commerce service providers through Sub-Decree 65 and Prakas 542.
Du Nguyen (Tax Partner) discussed the main transfer pricing implications for related party cross-border transactions and the tax on e-commerce.
This session gave the ACCA members in attendance a clear and concise update on the latest tax developments across the Southeast Asian Region.
