As part of the transaction, which closed last week, Thoma Bravo has made a new equity investment in the company to maintain a significant minority interest.

Working alongside lead counsel Kirkland & Ellis, the Carey Olsen team advising Thoma Bravo on all Jersey-related corporate and regulatory aspects of the acquisition comprised partner Guy Coltman and senior associate Susan McKinstray.

Guy said: "We are delighted to have assisted Thoma Bravo on the sale of its majority stake in Nintex after what has been an extremely successful three and a half year period as the company's majority investor."
