Carey Olsen advises shareholders on secondary offering of GFL Environmental shares

The Canadian headquartered diversified environmental services company announced the secondary offering of 12,658,228 subordinate voting shares on 18 November 2021 with a price to the public of US$39.75 per share. The underwritten offering raised in the region of US$500 million for the four selling shareholders, with GFL receiving none of the proceeds.
GFL is the fourth largest diversified environmental services company in North America with facilities across Canada and in 27 states in the United States. It has a workforce of more than 17,000 employees.
