Bradley is pleased to announce the arrival of former Assistant U.S. Attorney Natalie Hirt Adams as a partner in the firm’s Government Enforcement and Investigations Practice Group in Tampa.

“Natalie’s trial experience background as a former U.S. Attorney gives her a unique perspective into the investigations process that is invaluable to clients navigating the challenging enforcement landscape,” said Bradley Tampa Office Managing Partner R. Craig Mayfield. “Our office has placed an emphasis on building these capabilities to serve Florida and our clients nationwide, and we are confident that we are continuing to advance that goal with the addition of such an exceptional practitioner as Natalie.”

Ty Howard, chair of the firm’s Government Enforcement and Investigations Practice Group, added “We’re pleased to welcome Natalie to the team, and we are excited for her to join Lee Bentley, Jason Mehta, and Soma Nwokolo as former federal prosecutors in our Tampa office. Natalie’s addition continues to strengthen and deepen our presence in Florida and helps provide exceptional service to our clients working through compliance issues, corporate investigations, and enforcement matters.”

Ms. Adams provides tactical advice to clients on criminal matters, complex civil litigation, and internal investigations. She leverages her nearly decade-long experience as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Middle District of Florida to advise clients on proactive and reactive strategies for handling complex government investigations and prosecutions. Ms. Adams has additional private practice experience in Washington, D.C., defending corporate clients targeted by government investigations and class action lawsuits and preparing clients to testify before the United States Congress.

While at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Ms. Adams prosecuted violent and organized crime and built complex cases by utilizing grand jury investigations and electronic surveillance techniques. She also chaired and participated in numerous trials, including multi-defendant racketeering (RICO) and murder trials and was recognized with the Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award in 2016 for her work in a six-defendant RICO and murder case in which all defendants were convicted following a three-month trial.

Ms. Adams received her J.D. from the Duke University School of Law, her M.A. from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, and her B.S. from Northwestern University.

Bradley’s Government Enforcement and Investigations Practice Group represents companies and individuals in a range of government and internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, white-collar criminal defense matters, compliance issues, civil litigation, and enforcement actions. The group is composed of seasoned defense attorneys with decades of government and industry experience equipped to handle investigations, trials and enforcement matters throughout the United States and internationally.
