Bradley Welcomes 26 New Associates

Bradley is pleased to announce that 26 attorneys have joined the firm’s offices in Birmingham, Ala.; Charlotte, N.C.; Dallas, Tex.; Houston, Tex.; Huntsville, Ala.; Montgomery, Ala.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Tampa, Fla.

Birmingham

Beryl Newchurch Billings is an associate in the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. She received her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and served as a judicial intern for the Hon. R. David Proctor of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Ms. Billings earned her B.S. in Political Science from Spring Hill College.

Nicholas Fordice is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. He earned his J.D. (magna cum laude) from Georgetown University Law Center. While attending law school, he served as an executive editor for the American Criminal Law Review’s Annual Survey of White Collar Crime and as a student attorney for Georgetown’s Housing Advocacy and Litigation Clinic. Mr. Fordice also worked for an appellate section of the Department of Justice and the Inspector General’s Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission. He received his B.S. in Business Administration (summa cum laude) from Auburn University.

Anne Miles Golson is an associate in the Healthcare Practice Group and previously served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Andrew L. Brasher on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She received her J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Golson was an editor of the Alabama Law Review and received the Dean M. Leigh Harrison and Hugo L. Black Scholar Awards. She earned a B.A. in English from the University of Alabama.

Elizabeth R. Hobbs is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group and earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. During law school, she was an articles and notes editor for the North Carolina Banking Law Institute Journal. Ms. Hobbs received her B.A. in English (magna cum laude) from the University of Alabama.

Morgan C. Kain is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. She has a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she received the Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Concentration Certificate. Ms. Kain also was a publications editor of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. She earned her B.S. in Business Administration and her B.A. in English (both magna cum laude) from Auburn University.

Virginia C. Wright is an associate in the Government Enforcement and Investigations Practice Group. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was an article editor and executive technical editor for the Journal of Law and Gender and professional chair for HLS Lambda. Ms. Wright has her B.A. (summa cum laude) in Classical Studies from the University of Alabama, where she was a member of the 7th Cohort of the University Fellows Experience.

Charlotte

Maria Carisetti is an associate in the Construction Practice Group. She received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she served on the Pro Bono Executive Board and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Executive Board. Ms. Carisetti earned her M.A. and B.A. in Political Science from Virginia Tech with concentrations in Legal Studies and Environmental Politics and Policy.

Dallas

Boyce Holleman is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. He has a J.D. (magna cum laude) from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he served as editor of the SMU Law Review Association Corporate Counsel Symposium and president of the SMU Dedman Sports & Entertainment Law Association. Mr. Holleman earned a B.B.A. (cum laude) from the University of Mississippi, focusing his studies on Managerial Finance and Banking.

Houston

Brittany K. King is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group, where she handles wage issues under the FLSA and discrimination under Title VII and provides advice and counsel on the benefits of employee-type and independent contractor-type relationships. She received her J.D. from the Vanderbilt University Law School and earned her B.A. (magna cum laude) in Political Science from Auburn University.

Jacob Malatek is an associate in the Construction Practice Group. He received his J.D. (summa cum laude) from South Texas College of Law, where he was the recipient of the Oil, Gas & Energy Resources Law Scholarship and the Hyman L. Slohm Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Malatek also participated in the advocacy program and was a Langdell Scholar. He received a B.A. (summa cum laude) in Political Science from Texas A&M University.

Jessie Manzewitsch is an associate in the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group and served as an intern for the Hon. David Hittner of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She received a J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was involved with the Houston Journal of International Law and Labor & Employment Law Society. Ms. Manzewitsch earned her B.L. from the Universidad Católica de Argentina. While in Argentina, she clerked for the Nicholson & Cano law firm in the tax law department.

Huntsville

Ginny Light is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. She received her J.D. with honors from Emory University School of Law, where she was a member of the Emory Moot Court Society and competed on the Constitutional Law Team. Ms. Light has a B.A. (summa cum laude) in Political Science from the University of Alabama.

Gabrielle A. Sprio is an associate in Bradley’s Construction Practice Group with a primary focus on government contracts law. Ms. Sprio earned her J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as acquisitions editor of the Alabama Law Review. Prior to law school, she worked for a leading global aerospace and defense company. Ms. Sprio holds a B.S. (magna cum laude) in Finance and Economics from the University of Alabama.

Montgomery

Lillie A. Hobson is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. She received her J.D. (summa cum laude) from Mississippi College School of Law, where she served as the technical articles editor of the Mississippi College Law Review. Throughout law school, Ms. Hobson worked for U.S. Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith and externed for Judge Chris McCool with the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals. She earned her B.A. (summa cum laude) in History and Criminal Justice from Judson College.

Nashville

Jenna Adamson is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group and previously served as a law clerk to the Hon. S. Kyle Duncan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and to the Hon. Thomas A. Varlan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Ms. Adamson received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served on the editorial board for the Virginia Law & Business Review. She earned a B.A. (summa cum laude) in English and French from Hillsdale College.

Myles W. Chaney is an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group. He received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenburg College of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board and the Trial Advocacy Board. Mr. Chaney earned his B.A. in English Literature from California State University Long Beach.

Matthew C. Copeland is an associate in the Healthcare Practice Group. He received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was editor of the Journal of Law & Innovation and a Penn Law Morris Fellow. He has a B.S. (summa cum laude) in Economics and Health Services Administration from Auburn University.

Aaron M. Johnson is an associate in the Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group, representing clients in bankruptcy matters and assisting in acquisitions and dispositions of distressed assets and distressed asset investing in a variety of industries. He has a J.D. from the University of Kentucky School of Law, where he was an articles editor for the Kentucky Law Journal. Mr. Johnson is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his B.A. (summa cum laude) in Accounting and Business Administration from Transylvania University.

Benjamin A. Johnson is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group and previously served as a law clerk and attorney-advisor to Chief Judge Scott W. Stucky of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces in Washington, D.C. He received his J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an executive editor for the Tennessee Law Review. He earned a B.A. in Communications from Bryan College.

Josh Kleppin is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. He graduated first in his class and received his J.D. (summa cum laude) from Belmont University College of Law, where he was executive development and technology editor of the Belmont Law Review. While in law school, Mr. Kleppin interned as a clerk for the Hon. Chief Justice Jeffrey S. Bivins on the Tennessee Supreme Court and Judge Kelvin D. Jones in the State of Tennessee’s 20th Judicial District. He received his B.M. in Commercial Percussion from Belmont University.

Sophie Lange is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. She has a J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she was senior acquisitions editor of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law and competed in the Bryant National Health Law Transactional Competition. Ms. Lange earned her B.S. (summa cum laude) in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee Haslam College of Business.

Mary-Kathryn (“MK”) McKinney is an associate in the Healthcare Practice Group. She assists clients in the healthcare industry with transactional, operational and regulatory matters, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Ms. McKinney received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she graduated with high honors and was a member of the North Carolina Law Review. She has an M.A. in Psychology from New York University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Caroline C. Waters is an associate in the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. She earned her J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Tennessee College of Law and was named to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, she was the acquisitions editor for the Tennessee Law Review and served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Thomas A. Varlan of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. She earned her B.S.B.A. (summa cum laude) in Finance from Auburn University.

Luke R. Yordy is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group, where he focuses on the prosecution and enforcement of patent laws and trademarks. He is a registered patent agent and has worked on patent applications across a variety of industries. Mr. Yordy received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was managing editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review and a John W. Wade Scholar. He has his M.B.A. and B.S. in Chemical Engineering (magna cum laude) from the University of Alabama.

Tampa

W. Blair Castle is an associate in the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. He received his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as forum editor for the Florida Law Review. He has an M.M. in Trombone Performance from the University of Texas and a B.M. in Trombone Performance from the University of Florida. While in law school, Mr. Castle completed an externship with U.S. Magistrate Judge Lurana S. Snow of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Ben Glicklich is an associate in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he received a Law and Business Certificate, graduated Order of the Coif, and served as executive authorities editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Mr. Glicklich earned a B.B.A. (cum laude) in Finance from the University of Miami.
