Law360 Selects Alison Ashmore as a 2022 Rising Star

Dykema is proud to announce that Alison Ashmore was included in Law360’s 2022 Rising Stars list. She is one of only five attorneys recognized in the Trials discipline and joins 175 other honorees chosen from more than 1,350 submissions. Ashmore was interviewed by Law360 for a special feature.

According to Law360, the Rising Stars recognition highlights the top legal talent under the age of 40 in a multitude of practice areas based on career accomplishments in their respective disciplines.

Ashmore, who is a member of Dykema’s Executive Board, represents clients in a wide range of disputes and industries. She counsels clients on disputes with customers, partners, shareholders, and employees in a variety of industries including, real estate, construction, insurance, energy, and technology. Known for her presence in the courtroom, she represents clients in both state and federal court, bankruptcy court, arbitrations, administrative bodies, and representing employers before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Ashmore represents clients in appellate matters and regularly handles breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, fraudulent transfer, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, and other business claims.

Ashmore holds several leadership positions within the firm and the community. She is a member of the firm’s Executive Board and previously served as Recruiting Partner of the firm’s Dallas office, as a member of Dykema’s Professional Personnel Committee, and played a critical role in launching Dykema’s Women’s Business Initiative in Dallas. Outside of the firm, Ashmore is President-Elect for the Dallas Women Lawyers Association, for which she also previously held the positions of Board Member and Treasurer.

Ashmore earned a J.D., cum laude, from Baylor Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Hardin-Simmons University.
