Han Kun represents Baidu in the merger of Baidu Waimai with Ele.me

On August 24, Baidu Waimai was merged with Ele.me. Through the merger, the two platforms will complement each other by integrating their respective resources in transactions, delivery and “new retail,” so as to consolidate their leading positions in the industry.
Han Kun acted as the PRC legal advisor to Baidu in the transaction, and was responsible for advising the transaction structure, legal due diligence, drafting and revising transaction documents, business negotiations and closing arrangements.
