Danielle Rushing Selected for 10 Under 10 Award by St. Mary’s University School of Law GOLD Council

Dykema is proud to announce that Danielle Rushing was selected by the St. Mary’s University School of Law’s GOLD Council for its 2022 10 Under 10 Award. Rushing will be honored during a reception at the Council’s annual luncheon on August 5, 2022.

Every year, St. Mary’s University School of Law Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Council honors 10 outstanding alumni who have graduated within the past 10 years at its annual 10 Under 10 Luncheon. Those selected have shown extraordinary commitment to St. Mary’s School of Law, their community and the profession.

Rushing focuses her practice on bankruptcy and restructuring matters. She represents multi-million dollar businesses, particularly in the oil and gas/energy, retail, national fitness chain, healthcare, and transportation industries.

In addition to being a member of the St. Mary’s University Law Alumni Association, Rushing is extremely active in the community. She was selected by the State Bar of Texas (SBOT) as one of only 20 attorneys in Texas to be a member of the 2020-21 class of LeadershipSBOT and has served on the board of directors of Bexar County Women’s Bar Association and Foundation for several years. She held roles such as Director, Secretary, Vice President, President-Elect, and is currently serving as President; BCWBF LEAD Academy Steering Committee. Rushing is also a Member of the San Antonio Bar Foundation Fellows Program and Texas Bar Foundation Fellows Program, serving at the charitable heart of the legal community. Additionally, she is the current ABA Young Lawyers Division Bankruptcy Law Committee Chair.

Rushing received a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law and a B.S. from Louisiana State University.
