Borislav Boyanov & Co. advised Allied Irish Banks, Ireland’s leading banking and financial services organization, on the acquisition of a 49.99% interest in BACB, a specialist provider of secured finance to small and medium sized companies in Bulgaria. Borislav Boyanov & Co. advised on Bulgarian law matters relevant to the share purchase agreement. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of 2008 subject to obtaining a merger control clearance and regulatory approval by the central bank of Bulgaria.
