PLMJ assists Microsoft in this Company’s greatest acquisition in Portugal

PLMJ assisted Microsoft in the largest acquisition operation of a “new technology” enterprise in Portugal.
The “team” coordinated by Fernando Campos Ferreira, again fully dedicated to clients, Head of the Firm’s M&A Practice, set up the operation for the acquisition, by Microsoft, of 100% of the capital of the Portuguese corporation MobiComp, S.A. (responsible for the development of the software which permits the synchronization, backing–up, saving and recovery of data and for other functions utilized by mobile telecommunications operators and by other users of mobile-telecoms connected networks).
This operation assembled PLMJ Lawyers from different specializations among whom were Manuel Lopes Rocha( an expert in IP and Computer Law) ), Luís Sobral( Labor Law), Nuno Cunha Barnabé ( Tax Law) Daniel Reis ( Telecommunications and Computer Law) and João Gonçalo Galvão (M&A) .
