Oxford University Press (www.oup.com/uk/law) recently published 'European Cross-Border Mergers and Reorganizations', edited by Jérôme Vermeylen and Ivo Vande Velde of Altius/Tiberghien. This comprehensive, 984-page, practical guidebook covers the corporate, tax and employment aspects of cross-border mergers in Europe in a country-by-country format covering 13 major EU jurisdictions. It also deals with other types of cross-border reorganizations and the migration of companies within Europe, including demergers, transfers of branches of activities and transfers of the head offices and/or the registered offices of companies across borders. Lawyers at Garrigues, Van Doorne and A&L Goodbody also contributed to the publication.
