ǼLEX Admits New Partner

ǼLEX is pleased to announce the admission of Mr. Olanipekun Orewale as a Partner with effect from 1st January 2012.
Ola’s elevation strengthens the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice of the firm, where he specialises in corporate and personal insolvency work, with particular emphasis on representing clients in mergers and acquisitions disputes and business turnaround and restructuring issues before the High Courts and appellate Courts in Nigeria.
He has acquired extensive litigation experience gained from appearing before courts and tribunals in nearly all the States in Nigeria in often and high value insolvency disputes. He also provides advice to insolvency professionals on compliance with statutory regulations and has attended many local and international conferences on subjects relating to insolvency and capital markets.
Ola qualified as a legal practitioner in 1998 and obtained an LLM from the University of Ibadan in 2004. He was previously an associate at one of the firms that merged to form ǼLEX, and transferred his services to ǼLEX at its inception.
He is an active member of the Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN).
