International Finance Corporation Invested USD 225 Million in Corpbanca, Acquiring 5% of Corpbanca Common Stock.

Carey acted as local counsel to International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, together with two funds managed by IFC Asset Management Company invested US$225 million in Corpbanca, acquiring 5% of Corpbanca common stock. The investment will support the Chilean bank’s expansion plan in Latin America and boost financial markets in the region.
Carey advised BBVA Group through a team led by partner Cristián Eyzaguirre and associate Cristián Figueroa.
