Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Korean investor Dongkook Industries Co. on the acquisition of automotive supplier Innovative Components Technologies GmbH

A team led by Dr. Mathias Schröder, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Munich office, advised Korean investor Dongkook Industries Co. on the acquisition of German automotive supplier Innovative Components Technologies GmbH (ICT). The acquisition was completed in an asset deal, with the special investment vehicle KDK Automotive GmbH acting as buyer. All shares in both of ICT's two foreign subsidiaries were acquired.

ICT GmbH is primarily a manufacturer of plastic parts for the automotive industry, with two plants in Germany and one each in Spain (Borja) and the Czech Republic (Tachov), employing a staff of about 1,300 and generating annual revenue of about EUR 200 million. Dongkook Ind. Co. has been a supplier to the automotive industry since 1955, primarily in Asian markets. The company is part of KB International Group with annual revenue of about EUR 1.5 billion.
