Dear Friends - It is our privilege and pleasure to invite you to the Eight edition of the Balkan Legal Forum, known also as “The Forum of Professional Friends” (www.balkanlegalforum.org).
This IBA event will be held on 26 and 27 June 2014, at Palais Hensen Kempinski, Vienna, Austria.
The Organizing Committee put in place an extraordinary program, which includes current topics like Main Concerns of the Clients, IT Security, Corruption, Competition, Energy and Arbitration. The second intensive day deals with law firm management, addressing the important challenges we face in our profession. We have secured a variety of distinguished international lawyers, consultants and clients who will take part as speakers.

In addition to the learning process, this year Forum shall be an extraordinary networking event. As you probably know, the BLF usually attracts about 200-240 participants from 34 countries on average. For June we initiated a joint Gala Dinner and cross participation with the CIS Local Legal Counsels Forum, which brings over 100 managing and senior partners from CIS countries. The CIS forum will be held immediately after the BLF, on 28 and 29 June 2014, and we encourage all interested to attend.

As you would expect, June is amongst the best months to visit the beautiful city of Vienna and to enjoy its rich cultural heritage. We hope the social program, including our dinner at Palais Ferstel, will enrich your Vienna experience.

Last but not least, we thank the Organizing Committee and the IBA office for their hard work, and the Austrian and International law Firms, members of the Host Committee, for their enthusiastic contribution for the organizing of this meeting.
