Alessandro Stoppa joins Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners

The firm continues its growth strategy and hires Alessandro Stoppa to further strengthen the firm’s Corporate Finance activity

Rome, May 29, 2014 – The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners strengthens its Corporate Finance activity with the arrival of new Partner Alessandro Stoppa who will join the firm in June. Also joining as Counsel will be Alessio Giammarino.

Alessandro has developed significant and versatile experience assisting corporate and institutional clients in acquisitions and extraordinary finance transactions over a wide range of industrial sectors, including real estate. A renowned expert in the field of real estate, he specialises in all phases of a deal, from the appropriate legal and commercial structure through to financing. In addition to his active involvement in many of the Italian market’s most high profile and high value transactions, Alessandro has also become a significant force on the international scene.
Alessandro joins from the American law firm Paul Hastings, where he assisted clients from both the Milan and London offices. Career highlights to date include stints working for other primary firms as well as for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). He is member of the Italian Bar and is admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales.
Alessio Giammarino, who also joins from Paul Hastings, specialises in Corporate Finance matters with a particular focus on the acquisition and sale of equity stakes in the real estate and renewable energies sectors. Relevant transactional experience also includes real estate investment funds and fund management.

Alessandro and Alessio will integrate into the firm’s Real Estate department. With 27 active lawyers, and a partner count of 6, the team, which is headed by Domenico Tulli, is fully functional throughout the firm’s network of offices, operating across various disciplines and covering matters as disparate as corporate law, construction, urban planning, environmental protection, corporate finance, tax and real estate.
