New Director at Carey

Francisco Corona, a lawyer with extensive experience in Natural Resources, Mining and Environment, was appointed as Director at Carey.

Mr. Corona studied law at the Universidad de Chile and was admitted to the bar in 2001. He also has an LL.M. in Natural Resources and Environmental Law and Policy, with a specialization in mining and energy, from the University of Denver Law School.
Francisco Corona is a member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, and has been an Assistant Professor of Mining Law at Universidad de Chile since 2004.

Carey’s Natural Resources, Energy and Environment Group, which Mr. Corona is a part of, is composed of six partners and 28 associates, making it the largest practice in Chile which is dedicated to this specialization.
