Giuseppe Loffreda joins Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners

Rome, October 2, 2015 - The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners announces the hire of Partner Giuseppe Loffreda who joined the Rome office on October 1st. Giuseppe’s arrival will further strengthen the firm’s offering in Shipping, Aviation and Transportation law.

Giuseppe’s career has always been centred on the field of Shipping, Aviation and Transportation and he has amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise through diversified experience in this sector. He assists sea and air transport companies, financial institutions, wet lease airline operators, port terminals, airport managers, shipyards, shipping brokers, covering all matters regarding Italian, EU and international shipping and transportation (sea and air), in the contentious and non-contentious arenas.

Giuseppe joins from Legance – Avvocati Associati where he headed the Shipping, Aviation and Transportation law practice. His previous appointments included his earlier years with Gianni, Origoni, Grippo & Partners and Studio Legale Raimondi, a boutique firm exclusively dedicated to Shipping law.

He is a frequent speaker at conferences and University post-graduate courses as well as an established author in his field.
He is a member of I.S.DI.T (an Italian institution that promotes the study of shipping law) as well as a member of the editing committee of a specialist magazine on shipping and maritime law.
