Filipe Abreu specialises in tax consultancy and litigation and has worked for the last four years as an adviser to the Secretary Of State for Tax Affairs.

Darcília Matos has proven experience in the area of tax litigation and previously worked at the law firms RFF and Garrigues.

Mafalda Coelho Moreira previously worked at KPMG and in the law firm Telles de Abreu e Associados. She also worked as an adviser to the Secretary Of State for Tax Affairs in the 18th Constitutional Government. She specialises in tax consultancy and tax litigation.

According to João Magalhães Ramalho, the partner who heads PLMJ’s tax practice, “strengthening this team is our response to the growing confidence placed in us by clients and the need for professionals with high levels of seniority and specialisation to handle their matters.”

PLMJ’s tax team earned the honour of being named Tax Firm of The Year 2014 by the leading international tax law publication. This award was the result of international recognition of the quality and the involvement of the team in highly complex operations with great technical responsibility.
