Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano continues strengthening its teams by incorporating new professionals

 

As part of the Firm’s strategy, throughout 2015 and beginning 2016, Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano has continued strengthening its teams by incorporating seventeen new professionals (senior and junior associates) in areas such as Tax, Labor, Corporate, Mining, Litigation, International Trade and Customs, Intellectual Property and Public Law.

Our Tax practice is expanding its team with five new associates: José Ruiz-Huidobro (coming from Baker McKenzie Peru/Echecopar); Vivian Burga (coming from from EY-Peru), Efraín Rodríguez (coming from Rebaza & Alcázar Abogados and previously also EY-Peru), Otto Acosta (former intern recently graduated with honors from the Pontificia Universida Católica del Perú and also previously graduated with honors in Business and Accounting from the Universidad del Pacífico) and Jelennick Chevarría (another firm’s intern also recently graduated with honors from the Universidad Católica del Perú).

The Labor practice group has included two new members, Daniel De la Vega, a senior associate who comes from García Sayán Abogados and Milagritos Sueyoshi another recent former intern of the firm, who graduated with honors from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

The Litigation area has added Diego Martínez (formerly with Maple Gas and before with Payet) and Cynthia Corrales, a former intern from the Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas – UPC.

The International Trade and Customs and the Intellectual Property areas have both added one new lawyer each, Juan Alberto Acuña (who comes from PwC- Peru) and Adriana Bracamonte (who has just finished her master’s studies at George Washington University and was a former associate at Estudio Ferrero Abogados), respectively.

The Corporate practice area has hired three new members who finished their internship in the Firm, Rodrigo La Rosa from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, who began in January 2015 and recently Melanie Castillo, from the Universidad de Lima and Andrés Hundskopf from the Universidad del Pacífico, all of them graduated at the top of their classes.

Our Mining and Environmental practice area has added Tomás Denegri (also a former intern of the Firm, graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú among the top of his class) and the Public Law practice area has included Romulo Muñoz from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, who began in January 2015 and Fabio Montenegro, also a recent intern and graduated very high in his class at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
