Heaphy is recognized among those who have contributed to the White Collar Crime landscape through innovative strategies. Heaphy leads as chair of the firm’s white collar defense and internal investigations practice, and he brings vast experience as a prosecutor and a white collar defense lawyer to his practice, which involves crisis management, internal investigations, compliance and trial practice. Prior to joining Hunton & Williams, Tim was the United States Attorney for the Western District of Virginia, serving as the chief law enforcement officer responsible for prosecuting federal crime and defending the United States in civil litigation.
