Partner Marvin Ehrlich Joins Global Commercial Real Estate Practice

January, 2016 - Richmond, Virginia

Hunton & Williams LLP announces the continued expansion of its real estate practice with the arrival of Marvin W. Ehrlich as partner in the firm’s capital finance and real estate group in Washington. Ehrlich focuses on matters concerning all aspects of commercial real estate development and finance, representing banks, insurance companies, financial institutions and borrowers in both CMBS and portfolio financing and distressed loan workout transactions.

“Washington continues to be a desirable real estate market for commercial investment. Marvin has worked on real estate projects involving retail centers, hotels and apartments, so his practice perfectly complements our own,” says Carl F. Schwartz, who leads Hunton & Williams’ global real estate practice alongside Howard E. Schreiber. “He will be working closely with our established team in the Washington Metro area, as well as the rest of the team members around the country.”

Ehrlich adds, “I’m excited to partner with the dynamic lawyers of Hunton & Williams’ real estate group in building on their first-rate practice and reputation. I look forward to helping them grow our footprint in Washington and advance our branded national platform.”
