Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners wins at the 2016 IFLR Awards

London, April, 21, 2016 - The international law firm Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners was a two time winner at the 2016 IFLR Awards organized by the international magazine IFLR - International Financial Law Review:
- “Loan Deal of the Year“ for the Chem China/Pirelli transaction;
- “Structured Finance and Securitisation Deal of the Year” for the KKR/Unicredit/Intesa Sanpaolo NPL platform.
The awards were received during the annual awards ceremony held in London, which was attended by a team of our lawyers, including those involved in the winning deals: partners Luciano Acciari and Fabio Chiarenza picked up the award for the Chem China/Pirelli deal, Stefano Agnoli collected the prize for the KKR/Unicredit/Intesa Sanpaolo NPL platform.
It is not the first time the firm has been successful at the IFLR Awards; in the past it has collected the award for “Law Firm of the Year” as well as for “Advisor to Single Deals” (most recently in 2014 when it won in the “Private Equity Deal of the Year" category for the sale of Avio on behalf of the Cinven Fund.
