Haynes and Boone Scores High Marks in Vault’s 2017 Rankings

Vault, publisher of influential rankings, ratings, and reviews on thousands of top employers and internship programs, has released its annual survey of the largest U.S. law firms and has again ranked Haynes and Boone, LLP in the Top 100 for overall prestige and the Top 20 in the country for diversity.
In the Best Law Firms to Work For section, Haynes and Boone ranked in the Top 25 in three key categories:
No. 16 in Firm Culture
No. 18 in Career Outlook
No. 25 in Training, Mentoring & Sponsorship
“To continuously be highly ranked on a nationally respected platform is testament to our ongoing efforts to ensure the firm is a collaborative, inclusive and satisfying workplace,” said Partner Kenya Woodruff, who chairs the Attorney Diversity and Inclusion Committee. “That these rankings are based on reviews from our peers make the recognition all the more gratifying.”
In the Best Law Firms for Diversity section, the firm added two new categories, Diversity for Military Veterans and LGBT Diversity, while moving up the rankings in the remaining categories:
No. 4 in Diversity for Minorities
No. 9 in Diversity for Individuals with Disabilities
No. 11 in Overall Diversity
No. 10 in Diversity for Women
No. 17 in Diversity for Military Veterans
No. 19 in LGBT Diversity
The firm also maintained high regional rankings in Texas at No. 8 and was once again listed in the Best Summer Associate Program category.
The Vault Top 100 Law Firms list ranks the most prestigious law firms based on the perceptions of currently practicing lawyers at peer firms. It is determined from a survey of more than 17,000 law associates asked to rate law firms on a scale of 1 to 10 based on prestige. Associates were not allowed to rate their own firms and were asked only to rate firms with which they were familiar.
