Haynes and Boone Surges in Latinvex Rankings

August, 2017 - Dallas, Texas

Latinvex, publisher of daily news and weekly analysis on Latin American business, has ranked Haynes and Boone, LLP as one of the top international law firms doing business in Latin America for the sixth consecutive year.

Overall, the firm was ranked 18 in the 2017 list of the top 70 law firms in Latin America — up from a ranking of 20 in 2016.

The editorial and research staff of Latinvex ranks the top international law firms in Latin America overall and in 18 practice areas. The rankings are based on a combination of factors, including value, prominence and scope of work between July 2016 and July 2017, and references among clients and peers, according to Latinvex.

Haynes and Boone was listed among the top law firms in Latin America in eight categories, compared to four categories in 2016, including ranking as the top firm in two practice areas:

• Aviation (ranked 1)
• Banking & Finance (9)
• Corporate/M&A (16)
• Energy (4)
• Environment (2)
• Mining (8)
• Real Estate (1)
• Trade (4)

“These rankings speak to the skill and knowledge of our Latin American lawyers and the incredible breadth of our offerings in the market,” said Dallas Partner Larry Pascal, chair of Haynes and Boone’s Americas Practice Group and co-chair of the International Practice Group. “We have been deeply committed to Latin America for many years, and we will continue to be a leader in serving companies with interests in the region.”
