WSG is pleased to announce the election of the 2017 - 2018 Board of Directors including officers: Mark Harty, LCS & Partners as Chair; Francesco Gianni, Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners as Chairman Elect; Michael Bernard, Dykema as Secretary and Judith A. Whitehead, Graham Thompson as Treasurer. Mark Harty added, "It is with the highest esteem and privilege to assume the role of WSG Chairman for 2017 – 2018, and I anticipate the upcoming year to be full of amazing breakthrough’s and success."

The 16th Annual Meeting also marked the election of four (4) Directors to the WSG Board: Stefan Erhag, Delphi; Mark Harty, LCS & Partners; Ramon Moyano, Estudio Beccar Varela and Hunter Rost, Waller. The newly elected Directors will serve a four-year term.

Outgoing Chair Larry Pascal, Partner at Haynes and Boones, transitioned his position to incoming Chair, Mark Harty and extended a heartfelt appreciation and acknowledgement of dedicated participation to our outgoing Directors Gary Assim, Shoosmiths and Alejandro Antillon, Pacheco Coto. WSG thanks Larry Pascal, WSG Chairman 2016 – 2017, Mr. Assim and Mr. Antillon, Directors 2013 – 2017, for their exemplary years of service.

Newly Elected Directors:

Stefan Erhag, Partner, Delphi – Sweden

Stefan Erhag is a Partner and former Managing Partner at Delphi, legal firm member for Sweden. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance as well as corporate law. Mr. Erhag has served on the WSG European Regional Council since 2016 and currently serves as Chair of the Council. Delphi joined WSG in 2004, hosted the 2010 European Regional Meeting, and is an active participant throughout network activities.

Ramon Moyano, Partner, Estudio Beccar Varela - Argentina

Ramon Moyano is a Partner and a member of the Executive Committee at Estudio Beccar Varela. He has in-depth experience advising foreign investors in Argentina and jointly demonstrates great skill in transactions related to the entertainment and sports industries, agribusiness, telecommunications, energy, mining and insurance. Mr. Moyano has been very active in WSG over the years participating as a member of the Latin American Regional Council since 2014 and acted as Chair in 2015. Mr. Moyano has also been key in developing the WSG Emerging Leaders Council and championing the projects lead by this group over the past two years. Estudio Beccar Varela has been an active member of WSG since 2002 and co-hosted this year's WSG 2017 Meeting of the Americas

Hunter Rost, Partner, Waller - Tennessee, U.S.A.

Hunter Rost is a Partner at Waller, legal firm member for Tennessee. He is a trusted advisor for several companies and investors involved in the development, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare information, and counsels on a variety of many corporate transactions. Mr. Rost has served on WSG's North American Regional Council since 2015, and currently serves as Chair. Waller has been an active member of the WSG network since 2007 and Mr. Rost has acted as the primary representative attending WSG events and participating in committees such as the North American expansion committee.
