Erin Farabaugh Elected to Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh Board of Directors

Dinsmore & Shohl partner Erin Farabaugh has been elected to the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh (DSAP) board of directors for a two-year term.

The DSAP works to enrich individuals with Down syndrome and their families through education, communication, and support.

In addition to the DSAP, Farabaugh currently serves on the Association for Corporate Growth Pittsburgh board and the board of the Western Pennsylvania & WV Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and she is an active fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. 

Farabaugh is vice chair of Dinsmore’s business, acquisitions and securities practice group and counsels clients on all aspects of commercial transactions.  She also serves as outside general counsel to several private businesses and private equity-backed portfolio companies and is committed to partnering with her clients through an integrated understanding of each client’s industry, business operations, and strategic goals.  Farabaugh provides proactive and practical guidance on matters spanning from corporate governance to commercial contracts, growth initiatives, and business succession planning.

Farabaugh earned her J.D. and certificate of advanced study in international and comparative law from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
