Hanson Bridgett LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three new lateral partners to its construction practice

February 13, 2017 (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) – David Buoncristiani moves from Jones Day and brings over 40 years of experience as a construction litigator recognized by Chambers USA and as a member of the American College of Construction Lawyers. His practice focuses on complex construction claims including all facets of public and private construction, including contract negotiation and preparation.

Scott Hennigh is a first-chair construction trial attorney with 20 years of experience and joins from Sheppard Mullin Richter Hampton LLP where he was co-chair of the Chambers USA ranked Construction Team. His practice focuses on disputes arising on heavy civil, mass residential, commercial, and major infrastructure construction projects.

Mathew Troughton has been recognized by Legal 500 and brings two and a half decades of construction litigation experience most recently with Sheppard Mullin and previously as a partner at Coudert Brothers LLP. He represents top ENR 400 contractors and major owners in construction disputes, counseling, and contract drafting.

"Servicing the construction industry is a core practice focus at Hanson Bridget LLP, and with the additions of Dave, Scott, and Mat we are working toward our vision of having the premier construction practice on the West Coast," said firm managing partner Andrew Giacomini.

The move reunites Hennigh and Buoncristiani who worked together in Thelen LLP's highly recognized construction practice from 1996 to 2007. Said Hennigh, "Dave is a legendary construction litigator, a friend and mentor, and I am delighted to get some of the band back together."
