Isabel is a banking and finance solicitor and joined Shoosmiths as an Associate in September 2023. She has a range of debt finance experience, including real estate finance, leveraged and acquisition finance, asset based lending and investment grade finance. She mainly acts lender side, including for UK clearing banks and other financial institutions, but also works for national and international corporates and private equity funds.

• advising a challenger bank on a £27 million financing for the acquisition of a leading manufacturer by a private equity firm; 
• acting for a UK clearing bank on a £120 million refinancing of an agricultural business involving instructing international counsel; and
• working on an £8.5 million loan in relation to the acquisition of a leading supply company by an investment fund.

Isabel graduated from University College London with a degree in Law with Australian Law prior to undertaking her training contract at Pinsent Masons in London. Whilst training, Isabel acted for four banks on a syndicated, multijurisdictional deal for £430 million of unsecured debt facilities.
