Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Liu practiced for years with several top-tier international and Chinese law firms, where he accumulated extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution.
Mr. Liu specializes in dispute resolution, with a focus on complicated cross-border commercial and corporate control disputes. Mr. Liu has an educational and practice background in both Chinese law and common law, and is familiar with both legal systems. Mr. Liu has extensive experience in arbitration, having represented or advised clients in arbitration proceedings under the rules of CIETAC, CMAC, LMAA, HKIAC and SIAC.
Mr. Liu has handled a variety of commercial disputes relating to companies, insurance, banking and finance, trade and all types of maritime cases.

Mr. Liu received his LL.B. degree from Dalian Maritime University in 2011. He also obtained an LL.M. degree in Common Law from the University of Hong Kong in 2012.
